My husband absolutely loved his Nasi Goreng and my son loved his beef pendang but my Seafood Linguini was tasteless and the seafood was ridiculously light on for the price and what was there was so tiny you could hardly see it. (The mussels were the size of a small fingernail and 2 of the shells were empty). !I wished I had chosen something Asian instead of Italian in an Indonesian restaurant. I was going to send it back but it was a special occasion so decided not to spoil it.The breakfast menu looks great though and the coffee was delicious.

By chance i found this Indonesian restaurant as i was staying at the hotel on the other block from the retaurant. I ordered nasi goreng, as an indonesian Nasi goreng is a common dish I order. Taste good combined with the Krupuk. Needless to say the location is very prominent. Love to come back when i am visiying Perth again.

Nicely located Indonesian-Italian restaurant in East Perth. We tried both Indo and Italian dishes, and we have to say, they are pretty delicious. We had the pizza, grilled chicken and mie goreng - all delicious. They were busy but was able to look after us well.

Average curries, for a high price. Perhaps the weekday specials are good value for money, but we found it overpriced and mediocrewhen having lunch on a Sunday. Surprised by so many good reviews, if we knew we would have gone elsewhere.

Lovely family owned restaurant. Staff or better say girls, were friendly and polite. Sitting is casual outside and inside. We decided to take siting inside as we were worry it could be chilli outside.Food is Italian or Indonesian. We had ordered olive and cheese, Tepayan fish and Sumatran chicken curry. Everything was tasty and nice. There is a list of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, something for everyone. Music was pleasant and relaxing, but when restaurant is busy, you can hardly to hear it.Very nice Indonesian style big table in corner, we did like and appeals to us better then other tables. Probably it will be good for eight plus people. We loved it.

Food was decent. Classic dishes. Though Menu a little dated. Indonesian fare still good. But definitely better for sharing to try out their dishes here.

I was eager to try new restaurant in East Perth. I usually go to Victoria Park to get indonesian take away food so hoped this one is good and I can just get Indonesian food near by.We went at 11am. I could see $15 lunch special promotion at the outside of the restaurant so I was looking at to try that. No lunch special description was in the menu so I asked the staff about lunch special then she said fried rice. So I asked back if that is Nasi Goreng as I was expecting some flavour and condiments (eg. sambal & chicken satay) rather than just fried rice I can cook at home easily. The staff answered yes so I ordered that.We ordered lamb satay 6pc ($21) and grilled squid ($35) as well.We were the only customers at the time so didn't expect food would take long but dishes came out at 11:42. I felt that was pretty long time.Lamb satay was good and grilled squid was okay but the lunch special was the biggest disappointment. It was just fried rice (which was the one originally the staff said to me rather than Nasi Goreng) with some cabbages and beaten egg with few prawn crackers and bit of green leaves besides topped with a fried egg without a flavour in the fried rice so I asked to have some sambal sauce which was $1 extra. If I did get an explanation of the ingredients in the fried rice I would rather order Nasi Goreng with tofu ($17.5) or chicken ($19). I cannot understand how come that no flavoured cabbage and egg fried rice is the lunch special with $15 price tag. I thought lunch special means value meal or discounted meal in good quality. With $15, I could have Vietnamese combination beef noodle soup or Chinese fried rice with egg, bba pork and prawn with satisfactions. One pub in the city is doing Monday special menu 'Roast & Pint' for $20.This was our first try but we were not impressed at all. Hoped the restaurant should do better to get new customers.

Our experience was made memorable by the truly genuine hospitality from the staff. The restaurant atmosphere was warm, convivial, and somehow romantic. We enjoyed the food, the service was outstanding and the prices were fair.Thank you Tempayan Bay.

All the Indonesian food they do is incredible. Me and my partner love coming here and we get the Nasi Goreng. Really nice spot along the river and the owner is very accomodating. Could not recommend more!

Group of 7 - DinnerA casual restaurant with ample space for big groups. We went there on a hot day and it was really warm inside the restaurant as they had all their surrounding sliding doors open. They have 2 menu's available - Indonesian and Italian. We only tried the Indonesian food. Everything we ordered was delicious. Price I would say average with most restaurants in the city. The beef ribs was definitely a winner, so tender and juicy full of flavor. Can be a tight if you have a pram. There is also tables outside to enjoy the view. Ample road side parking.
